Stuart Z. Grossman Named a Lifetime Achiever by Marquis Who's Who

Mr. Grossman has established himself as a renowned trial lawyer with legal expertise in medical malpractice, products liability, police misconduct, aviation, personal injury litigation, and wrongful death. He graduated from the University of Miami with a Juris Doctor in 1973 and a Bachelor of Arts in 1968. He graduated as a member of the Iron Arrow Honor Society, the University of Miami's highest honors society. He currently serves as a senior partner at Grossman Roth Yaffa Cohen. He previously served as an attorney at Spence, Payne, Masington and Grossman from 1973 to 1988.

Mr. Grossman is an active member of multiple organizations. He is currently serving the International Academy of Trial Lawyers as a fellow, member of the board of directors, and co-chairman for the state of Florida. He is a member of the College of Diplomates and sustaining member of the American Justice Association. He served the American Board of Trial Advocates as the Miami chapter representative, member of the executive committee, and presidential appointee to the National Board. He is also a member of the Florida Bar, the Federal Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association, and the Dade County Justice Association. Additionally, Mr. Grossman holds the title of Distinguished Fellow of the Florida Justice Association and Pound Fellow of the American Bar Association.

Outside of the courtroom, Mr. Grossman serves his community as a chairman of Margaux's Miracle Foundation at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, which focuses on cures for pediatric cancers. He is also actively involved with United Cerebral Palsy and United Way and provides financial support to numerous charities. He is published in major medical publications and was one of few lawyers invited to speak at national medical meetings. He has also been interviewed for his expertise in medical malpractice by Ted Koppel, Larry King, and others.

Mr. Grossman has received numerous awards and commendations for his contributions to his field. For his commitment to the civil justice system, he was bestowed with the prestigious Perry Nichols Award from the Florida Justice Association, the highest award given by the Florida Justice Association. He also received the Compassionate Gladiator Award by the Florida Justice Association; the Florida Trial Lawyer of the Year Award by the American Board of Trial Advocates; the Legal Legend Award by History Miami; and the Masters in Trial Award by the American Board of Trial Advocates.

Additionally, Mr. Grossman was selected as one of 500 Leading Lawyers in America and one of 500 Plaintiff Leading Lawyers in America by Lawdragon in 2014, 2015, and 2016. He was also named as one of the Top 10 Lawyers in Florida by Super Lawyers Magazine, and Florida Trend Magazine named him to the Legal Elite Hall of Fame and selected him as one of the States' Legal Leaders. He is listed in Best Lawyers of America, Who's Who in America, and Who's Who in American Law. Additionally, Mr. Grossman was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award by America's Top 100 Attorneys, and the Florida Justice Association named him to the Eagle Hall of Fame.

Mr. Grossman is a veteran of the United States Coast Guard, having served as an active duty member from 1969 to 1971, as well as a reserve duty member from 1971 to 1975. He is married to Karyn Karl Grossman, with whom he shares four children, and two grandchildren. They reside in Miami, Florida and Montecito, California. In his spare time, he enjoys fly fishing, horseback riding, athletic events, and teaching fellow lawyers.
