Dr. Sung works as a professor with Dong-A University and has many years of practiced experience in academia. Prior to obtaining this position, he served as an associate professor for Gyeongnam National University of Science and Technology. He has contributed his knowledge to a number of creative works on the topics of climate change, resource recovery engineering, the introduction to pollution and purification of soil environments, and renewable energy engineering.

Dr. Sung holds a Ph.D. in the field from Dong-A University. His professional affiliations include The Society for Environmental Technology in Korea and the Dong-A Engineering Scholarship Foundation, both of which he serves in the role of director. He has earned the Paper Award through the Korean Society of Environmental Engineering, and numerous citations through the city of Busan.
