HOWELL, NJ, November 16, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Vicky Culver with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Culver celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

A New Jersey resident, Ms. Culver has become a well-known artist who has participated in hundreds of group and solo exhibitions, and has participated in many presentations and demonstrations throughout the state. She has exhibited in some of the most eclectic neighborhoods, including at the Art & Attic in Red Bank, NJ, and the Black Box in Asbury Park, NJ. Her private, handcrafted photo collage collections can also be found throughout the United States, Europe, and New Zealand. Employed with the Guild of Creative Art in Shrewsbury, NJ, for close to 20 years, Ms. Culver has been their coordinator of gallery exhibits since 2008. She formerly served as the organization's director for eight years prior.

Born in Liverpool, England, where Ms. Culver completed a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design, Photography, and Communications at the Manchester College of Art & Design (now Manchester Metropolitan University) in 1969, she began her career designing publicity material and books for Longman Educational Publishers for five years. She then relocated to Canada to work in advertising and as a freelance graphic designer for several companies in Ottawa. In 1987, she made her way to the United States, where she has resided ever since.

Known for her photo collages, Ms. Culver says that it has always been an art form that she has found to be very therapeutic. Since 1996, when she first began making geometrical designs of Amish quilts, her work began to evolve into handcrafted works that required more in-depth emotion and technique. In 1998, Ms. Culver began exploring 3D collages and other materials, which also continued to progress over time. Subject matter, color, texture, and lighting have since become the most important elements in each of her designs.

Affiliated as a member of the Audubon Artists, The Art Alliance of Monmouth County, The Freehold Art Society, the City Without Walls Gallery, and The Printmaking Council of New Jersey, Ms. Culver has been the recipient of numerous local and national awards, which include the Botanical Award, Gallery Print, Wisconsin; Honorable Mention, Audubon Artists, Salmagundi Club, NY; The President's Award for Innovation and the Marquis Who's Who - Collage and Mixed Media, Audubon Artists, NY. Most recently, she received a 2017 Honorable Mention Award at the Edgy Show, which was granted by the Guild of Creative Art, a 2017 Alice Tendler Award for Innovation at the Eyesights Open Juried Photograph Exhibit, also by the Guild of Creative Art, and a 2017 Second Place Award in Mixed Media by the Art Society of Monmouth County. Many articles have been authored about her artwork, and she has also been written about several times in publications such as the Asbury Park Press, Greater Media Newspaper, and State of the Art Magazine, among others. Notably, Ms. Culver has been highlighted in several editions of Who's Who in America and Who's Who Among American Women as well.

In recognition of outstanding contributions to her profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Vicky Culver has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
