During her ten years with Mullahy & Associates, LLC, Ms. Boling shared her knowledge and expertise along with Mullahy & Associates, LLC President, Catherine Mullahy in case management in multiple settings such as insurance companies, hospitals, community based organizations, patient-centered medical homes and accountable care organizations.

Formerly Ms. Boling established Case Management, Inc, an association management company, and concurrently served as its CEO and executive director of Case Management Society of America, the largest organization serving case managers in the USA and across the world. She led Case Management Society of America to steady membership and chapter growth, national conference success and financial stability. Serving in those roles from 1994, she transitioned both of those entities to new ownership and executive directorship in 2006.

Ms. Boling holds an extensive background in healthcare, including a BSN from the University of Colorado in 1962, and an MSN from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1967. She is certified as a case manager, professional legal consultant, certified disability management specialist, certified rehabilitation registered nurse and professional legal nurse consultant. She served as director of continuing education at Children's Orthopedic Hospital in Los Angeles, director of continuing education and university liaison at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. She also served as case manager, supervisor of case managers at Systemedic Corporation in Little Rock, AR and executive director of Individual Case Management Association before transitioning to Case Management Society of America.

Ms. Boling was instrumental in developing the first CMSA Standards of Practice for Case Management. She served on the Commission for Case Manager Certification in multiple roles. CCMC is the largest certifying body for case managers. She spent eight years on the national board of directors for Utilization Review Accreditation Commission. URAC is a non-profit organization that helps promote healthcare quality through accreditation. She has served on the boards of directors of the following organizations: RNdex, Amgen, The Council for Case Management Accountability, "Home Health Care Today" for Excerpta Medica, Inc. She has been editorial board member for "the Journal of Care Management" for Mason Medical Communications, Inc., "The Case Management Advisor" for American Health Consultants, and was associate editor of "The Case Manager" for Systemedic Corporation. She assisted St. Paul and Marine Company to develop and offer the first case management medical malpractice insurance.

Honored numerous times for her work in the field, Ms. Boling received a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2005 by CMSA and was named Distinguished Case Manager of the Year in 1993. She earned a Recognition Award by the International Women's Leadership Association in 2014. Included in Who's Who of American Women twice, Ms. Boling is a long-time member of the Academy of certified Cased Managers and a member of the Aging Life Care Association in 2017. Married to Charles H. Boling since 1967, she has three children and three grandchildren. She attends Fellowship Bible Church, Little Rock.
