LOS ANGELES, CA, December 13, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Samuel Blackman has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

With more than 55 years of experience, Mr. Blackman has served as an independent consultant in the engineering field since 2015, specializing in radar tracking work for the military. He is a retired engineering fellow with Raytheon, and he previously worked as a staff member at the Los Alamos Scientific Lab for three years. Throughout his career, he has been the principal developer of multiple target tracking systems and resource management for an array of surveillance systems, including F-14, F-15, and F-18 radar systems.

A graduate of the University of New Mexico, Mr. Blackman holds a BA in Mathematics and an MS in Science and Physics. He is the author of two books, "Multiple Target Tracking with Radar Applications" and "Design and Analysis of Modern Tracking Systems," as well as numerous technical papers and book chapters. In the coming years, he intends to continue excelling in the field as an independent consultant.
