Dr. Koganski began his career at The Sverdlovsk Medical Institute Medical School, graduating with a Doctor of Medicine in 1986. He then held an internship at the Lankenau Medical Center through Main Line Health, which he completed in 1994. He continued his work at Lankenau Medical Center as a resident until 1996, and was certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, who would recertify his medical license in 2006 and 2016.
Inspired to enroll in medical school because of his mother's terminal cancer diagnosis, which she would beat for more than 50 years and survived to this day, Dr. Koganski remains involved with several organizations in relation to his field. He is affiliated with the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, and the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture. He was elected and served as Chairman of the Board of the Accountable Care Organization (ACO) for St. Mary Medical Center from 2014-2017.
Beyond his status as a leader in his industry, Dr. Koganski has accrued multiple accolades and honors throughout his impressive career. In 2017, he was recognized among the Top Docs in Internal Medicine by Philadelphia Magazine. He has also been honored by MDLinx.com in collaboration with the Cleveland Clinic, where he earned the title of Smartest Family Physician in America in 2013-2014 and 2016-2017 as well as Smartest Doc Internist from 2014 to 2017.
