Alix Magloire Celebrates 35 Years of Practiced Medical Experience

Dr. Magloire dedicates his services to missionary work in Haiti, Tanzania, Guyana, Mexico and South Africa



    PITTSBURG, CA, February 13, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Alix Magloire has been included in Marquis Who's Who. With more than 35 years of professional experience, Dr. Magloire has served as the associate chief of medicine with the Oakland Campus of the Northern California Health Care System's Department of Veterans Affairs since 1995. In addition, he has worked throughout his career in private practice. Since 2014, he has dedicated his services to missionary work though private, religious and humanitarian organizations, supporting five orphanages in Haiti, as well as others in Tanzania, Brazil, Guyana, Mexico, South Africa, and Nicaragua.

Born in Haiti, Dr. Magloire began his career at the University of Mexico, Villahermosa, Tabasco, earning an MD in 1979. He then traveled to the United States to work as a Fellow in neurosurgery at Elmhurst Hospital in Queens, NY, from 1981 to 1982, and as a resident in internal medicine at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center in The Bronx, NY, from 1982 to 1985. From 1985 to 1987, he relocated to California for an endocrinology fellowship at the University of California, Davis, from 1985 to 1987. He is recognized as a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. He spends his spare time as a fine art painter, music student and poetry writer.

An expert in the field, Dr. Magloire is a member of several industry organizations, including the American Diabetes Association and the Endocrine Society. He has also written numerous articles in professional journals, and he has been honored for his contributions, earning the Jan Hart-Schuyers Award in 2002. Looking toward the future, Dr. Magloire intends to continue his work as a humanitarian.
