Conrad William Denke Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

Conrad Denke, CEO and owner of Victory Studios in Seattle and Los Angeles has been in the film and video business for over 40 years. Denke has a degree in Radio/Television Communications and Psychology from the University of Washington. He served four years in the Air Force as a cameraman/director for the 5th Air Force Pacific Command and made films in Korea, Japan, The Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Viet Nam. In 1973 Denke was a cameraman for Operation Homecoming, documenting the POW releases from Hanoi, North Viet Nam. In 1978, he and his wife Laura started Victory Studios, first named American Motion Pictures and American Production Services. The company is now the largest independent video service company in the Northwest providing a wide range of video production services including live switched program production for the web, editing, audio mixing, production crews, sound stages, computer graphics, DVD and multimedia services, equipment rentals, and video and audio digitizing and duplicating.

As a producer, Denke has worked in several arenas including documentaries, corporate, children's programming, TV talk shows, and feature length movies. He worked for five years as co-executive producer on a series of public affairs documentaries for PBS entitled "National Desk." He formed a non-profit corporation entitled "E Pluribus Unum Films" to produce educational documentary and dramatic programming for television. Victory Studios in Seattle and Victory Studios in LA are full production companies supporting programs like "Mr. Warmth" for HBO, "The Morning After" for Hulu.com, the Jace Hall Show and many other internet based programs. Seattle's operation covers corporate production for companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Starbucks, Phillips, King television, The University of Washington, Tulalip Resort and Casino and non-profits like Amber Alert nationally.

Denke and his company have won numerous national awards for filmmaking including Regional Emmy's, National Emmy recognition for the Don Rickles documentary for HBO, several Cine Golden Eagle awards, top awards from The New York International Film and TV Festival, US International Film Festival, The International Television Association, The Houston International Film Festival, IFPA, several Telly awards, a Chris award from the Columbus film festival, numerous Emerald City awards and an award for directing from the Western Heritage Center and National Cowboy Hall of Fame.

Victory was one of two firms in the US to install two High Definition Television (HDTV) editing suites and corresponding production capabilities, shepherding the transformation from film to digital production. The company edited the first feature film produced in 24P HD in the United States. Victory Studios was named Corporation of the Year by the Seattle ITVA for its contributions to the Northwest industry. Conrad has also been recognized as "Producer of the Year" by The American Federation of Theatrical and Film Artists, and "Person of the Year" in Film by Media, Inc. For five years, the company published HighDef, an international magazine featuring stories and news on HD production.

Since 2014 Victory Studios is in full development of original programming. The company produces a weekly television series entitled "Band in Seattle," which is on regional television and all over the world on the internet and social media platforms. The company is in development of several programs including a reality program called "Daredevils and Disasters," a travel investigative series "The Indigenous Files," a sketch comedy series, and an educational program entitled "Music for Young People." Denke just completed a feature film entitled "Forbidden Power" as Producer.

Denke has served as the President of the International Television Association - Seattle Chapter, President of the Association of Independent Commercial Producers, on the board of the Washington Film and Video Association, founder/president of The Washington Motion Picture Council and an active member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA). He was chairman of the HDTV Consortium for NATPE, Vice President of the American Cinema Foundation and is active in community affairs and his church.
