Prior to forming his private practice, Dr. Kremin began his career as a senior psychologist at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in 1975. He then earned the opportunity to work within the New York Board of Education and the New York City Public Schools in several capacities for more than two decades. Between 1977 and 1981, he spent time as a member of the committee on the handicapped, psychologist, clinical coordinator, learning disabilities identification program coordinator, assistant to the regional coordinator, and chairman for the Board of Education. From 1981 to 2000, he also split his time between serving as the director of special services, director of special education and pupil personnel services, and assistant superintendent for three different New York school systems.

Dr. Kremin is a former New York state secretary for the Association of Family Conciliation Courts, assistant professor of psychology at Adelphi University, and assistant clinical professor of psychiatry at Hofstra North Shore LIJ School of Medicine. He maintains membership with several significant professional organizations, including the American Psychological Association and the American College of Forensic Psychology, is the founding president of the division of forensic psychology for the New York State Psychological Association, and is an elected fellow of the American College of Forensic Examiners, the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress, and the National Center of Crisis Management.

Completing a bachelor's and master's degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Dr. Kremin was a teaching fellow at the university during 1974 before completing a second master's degree and Ph.D. at Yeshiva University. A diplomate of the American Board of Psychological Specialties, the American Board of Administrative Psychology, the American Board of Forensic Examiners, and the American Board of Forensic Medicine, Dr. Kremin is also a registered custody evaluator, and is board certified in homeland security, school and emergency crisis response, and clinical and forensic psychology.
