With nearly 50 years of industry experience to his credit, Mr. Brower is currently retired, having most recently worked as president and owner of Brower Rehabilitation Services, Inc., from 1990 to 2015. Prior to this appointment, he was the manager of disability management services with the National Center for Disability Services from 1984 to 1990, the district manager for Intracorp, a subsidiary of Cigna, from 1978 to 1983, and both program director and mental health clinic administrator for Skills Unlimited from 1974 to 1978. Previously, Mr. Brower served as the coordinator of the TRI Rehabilitation and Health Care Centers from 1973 to 1974, a psychiatric rehabilitation counselor for NYS Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities from 1971 to 1973, and the pastor for Saint Paul Lutheran Church from 1966 to 1971, where he led the congregation to relocate and build a new church.

Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Brower pursued an education at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, earning a Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 1963. He followed this accomplishment with a Master of Divinity from the Lutheran Philadelphia Seminary in 1966. He continued his studies at Princeton Theological Seminary, completing postgraduate coursework in counseling from 1970 to 1971. Previously, Mr. Brower has been concluding postgraduate coursework in business administration at the New York Institute of Technology, where he was awarded the Delta Mu Delta honor society membership.

Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Mr. Brower has contributed to numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. A vocational expert witness for Federal and State Courts, he has held the role of adjunct professor in the Department of Counseling, Research, Special Education and Rehabilitation at Hofstra University from 1986 to 2001. He also served the Certification of Disability Management Specialists Commission on their Board of Directors from 1993 to 1994, treasurer from 1993 to 1994, and vice chairman from 1994 to 1995. A representative for the Foundation for Rehabilitation Education and Research from 1993 to 1994 and from 1999 to 2003, Mr. Brower was the chairman for the Government Affairs and Public Relations Committee, treasurer, and vice chairman to chairman for the same establishment from 1994 to 1995.

In addition to his primary trade, Mr. Brower remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. The president of the Association of Blauvelt Descendants from 1998 to 2005, he has maintained membership with the American Association of University Professors, the Professional Rehabilitation Association of Long Island and New York City, the Delta Mu Delta International Honors Society, and as chairman for the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals. Ordained as a Minister by the Lutheran Church in 1966, Mr. Brower has been certified as a rehabilitation counselor, disability management specialist, and case manager by the State of New York and the U.S. Department of Labor.

In light of his exceptional undertakings, Mr. Brower has accrued several accolades and honors throughout his impressive career. In 1994, he was honored as Rehabilitation Professional of Year by the Professional Rehabilitation Association of Long Island and New York City. Mr. Brower has also been selected for inclusion in multiple editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who's Who in the East and Who's Who in the World.
