Since 2013, Dr. Mazak has served in Orange CA and then Norwalk CA as an executive coach, intercultural trainer, and organizational development consultant for Mazak Global Management, a coaching, training and consulting company specialized in conscious executive leadership, intercultural communication, teambuilding, and organizational transformation. Additionally, she is owner of Innercall: Personal and Transpersonal Development, which offers online services in life, career and relationship coaching, hypnotherapy, and interspiritual spiritual direction. From 2001 to 2012, it also included her private practice as a licensed marriage and family therapist and past life regressionist.
Earlier in her career, she was graduate school core faculty in psychospiritual studies in the East-West Psychology Dept. at the California Institute of Integral Studies, and then at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology. Along with a full teaching load, she also served on doctoral dissertation committees, and as departmental Associate Director, student advisor, liaison for clinical students to the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, and curriculum developer. She was the faculty leader of a new cross-constituent committee that spearheaded campus diversification among students, faculty and curricula. Additionally, she was the first Training Director of the Spiritual Emergence Network, and taught online courses in consciousness studies for the San Diego University of Integral Studies and in gerontology for Coastline Community College.
An expert in creating professional applications that merge her various fields of study, Dr. Mazak is backed by a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from the School of Education at the University of San Francisco, and a Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy in South Asian Languages and Civilizations from the University of Chicago. She holds graduate certificates in organizational development and transformation, intercultural communication, global leadership and transnational management, ethno-religious mediation, and past life regression. She also completed certificate coursework in gerontology and the art of spiritual direction. She is certified and ordained as an interfaith / interspiritual minister with an outreach ministry in meditation, conflict resolution and peacebuilding.
In order to stay abreast of changes in her fields, she maintains affiliations with the Association for Transpersonal Psychology, the Academy of Management, the Society for the Anthropology of Consciousness, the Intercultural Communication Institute, One Spirit Interfaith Seminary, and United Religions Initiative.
Throughout her career, Dr. Mazak has been recognized many times for her work, including being awarded a Fulbright-Hays Fellowship for Research Abroad and the 1993 Dean's Prize for Faculty Research at the California Institute of Integral Studies.
