Titilayo Esther Oke (formerly known as Emilola Oke) Celebrated for Excellence in Immigration Law

With more than 10 years of professional experience, Ms. Oke has worked as an immigration attorney with the Law Office of Titilayo E. Oke since 2012. In this position, she represents clients in removal and deportation proceedings, petition for alien relative, permanent resident applications, adjustment of status, consular processing, naturalization applications, and DACA. Prior to establishing her own firm, she worked as a contract specialist with Ingersoll Rand in Indiana, as a paralegal with Coleman Stevenson & Montel, LLP in Indiana, and also as an immigration paralegal with Urban Law Group, P.C. in Georgia. Earlier in her career, she worked as an associate lawyer with the Advocaat Law Practice in Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria.

Ms. Oke began her career as a student at Lagos State University, obtaining a Bachelor of Laws, with honors, in 2004. She went on to study at Nigerian Law School, completing a post graduate professional program in 2005. She then traveled to the United States, studying at Kennesaw State University and earning a paralegal certification in 2008. An immigrant herself, she uses her own experiences as well as her formal education to provide clients the best representation possible. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and affiliated with Nigerian American Lawyers Association (NALA).

An Avvo rated attorney awarded a Clients' Choice Award in 2015, Ms. Oke has been recognized for her contributions throughout her career in the field of law. She is an active volunteer immigration attorney with CASA de Maryland, a community-based organization aimed at providing aid to people who have fled wars and strife to come to the United States. She has written and given lectures on several immigration topics such as "Common Mistakes to Avoid When Seeking Immigration Benefits under the New Administration". Ms. Oke also serves as a member of board of trustees for several non-profit organizations.
