His exceptional skills in these areas are backed by 50 years of experience. He began his career as a manager for Unilever in England in 1968. In this role for five years after graduating from business school, he took on a role as associate for Morgan Stanley in New York City. As he built his career, his reputation of excellence led him to new opportunities. His noteworthy positions have included general partner of Lazard Frères & Company, managing director and head of mergers and acquisitions for S.G. Warburg and Company, Inc., now known as UBS, head of international mergers and acquisitions in Europe for Salomon Brothers, Inc., now known as Citigroup Global Markets, and head of mergers and acquisitions for Schroder Salomon Smith Barney in London, England. Highly regarded by his peers for his insight, Mr. Keevil was offered many opportunities to take on career-related projects. From 1987 to 1995, he was a member of the board of directors for S.G. Warburg and Company, Inc. Years later, he was chairman and board of directors member for the Risk Advisory Group in 2006, as well as on the advisory board for NBD Sana Capital Limited in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, from 2007 to 2009.
To prepare for his career, Mr. Keevil attended the University of Oxford, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in 1968 and 1972, respectively. Thereafter, he pursued a Master of Business Administration at the prestigious Harvard University, where he graduated in 1975. To remain at the top of his field, Mr. Keevil became a member of the British American Business organization, where he has held a number of roles over the last 22 years, including director and deputy chairman. The organization is an exclusive, corporate network dedicated to promoting economic development for U.K. and U.S. companies with transatlantic business.
Outside of his professional work, Mr. Keevil is active in a number of civic organizations to pursue his personal passions. Since 2011, he has been a trustee of the American London Symphony Orchestra Foundation. He is a member of the choir for the Episcopal Church of Heavenly Rest, liveryman of The Worshipful Company of International Bankers, member of the advisory council for the London Symphony Orchestra, a former member of the board of governors for the City of London School for Girls, and liveryman and former master of the Worshipful Company of Poulters.
