Mr. Greason was a tenured and talented attorney who formerly spent 50 years as a lawyer (and as a partner) at Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, LLP (now Womble, Bond & Dickinson PLLC), in Winston-Salem, NC. During those years he also served as a member and chairman of the firm management committee. Prior to making partner, Mr. Greason was an associate at the firm for five years. An expert in tax law, mergers and acquisitions, with charitable organizations and with rights and obligations of majority and minority shareholders, Mr. Greason intends to continue his active role in community service because he believes that in helping others he is "paying rent for the space he takes up on earth."

Currently serving on the board of directors for the Governor Morehead Forum for Economic Development since 2015, Mr. Greason has also been a board member for the Wake Forest College Birthplace Society, Inc., since 2011, on the board of trustees as a lifetime member of the Wake Forest University since 2008, and trustee for The James W. Denmark Loan Fund at Wake Forest University since 1972. Notably, he briefly served as a visiting lecturer at Wake Forest University for two years during the 1970s. Mr. Greason has previously served on multiple other committees and in various roles over the past 50 years as well, and locally has been involved with the Winston-Salem Chamber of Commerce on the board of directors as chairman and vice chairman. He is an elected fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel and longtime member of several professional societies, including the North Carolina Bar Association and the Forsyth County Bar Association.

Hosting a career that was recognized numerous times for his hard work and diligence, Mr. Greason recently received a Distinguished Service Award from Wake Forest Birthplace Society, Inc., in 2016, a Norman Coan Hope Award for Volunteer of the Year by the North Carolina chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in 2012, and an Order of the Long Leaf Pine by the North Carolina Governor in 2009.

Mr. Greason earned his undergraduate degree and Doctor of Jurisprudence at Wake Forest University, magna cum laude, in 1959 and 1962, respectively. Admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 1962, he also served as a captain of the Judge Advocate General's Corps in the U.S. Army between 1962 and 1965. Married to Joan Millicent Wilder with three children and two grandchildren, Mr. Greason has been cited in over 50 editions of Who's Who, including Who's Who in America and Who's Who in American Law.
