Xue Ming, MD, Ph.D., Celebrates Years of Practiced Experience in Autism Research

Dr. Ming has had her work featured in the Journal of Autism Development Disorders



For many years, Dr. Ming has served as a professor of neurology at Rutgers University, The State University of New Jersey.

    NEWARK, NJ, June 12, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Xue Ming, MD, Ph.D., has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. For many years, Dr. Ming has served as a professor of neurology at Rutgers University, The State University of New Jersey. Her interests lie mainly in sleep disorders and autism spectrum disorders, specifically oxidative stress and how it is unique to children with autism spectrum disorders, as well as whether or not it is present in other neurodevelopmental disorders. Additionally, she lends her expertise to the Journal of Pediatric Neurology as an editor.

Prior to entering the field, Dr. Ming earned a Doctor of Medicine from Shanghai Medical University and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey's Graduate School of Biomedical Research. She has also had the opportunity to pursue a fellowship in pediatric neurology at Johns Hopkins Medical Institute. Throughout her career, she has assisted in a plethora of research that has been featured in the Journal of Autism Development Disorders, the Journal of Proteome Research, the Journal of Child Neurology and the Brain & Development Journal. Alongside other scholars, she has written articles, including "Metabolic Perturbance in Autism Spectrum Disorders: A Metabolomics Study" and "Bisphenol A Exposure in Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders." A member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, she has also published four books, including "Navigating the Medical Maze with a Child with Autism Spectrum Disorder: A Practical Guide for Parents."

In recognition of her important contributions to the health care industry, Dr. Ming has been selected for inclusion in several editions Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Education, Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who's Who in Science and Engineering and Who's Who in the East. In the near future, Dr. Ming intends to remain at the forefront of autism spectrum disorder research.
