Teaching in the School of Management at Soongsil University in Seoul, Republic of Korea, for the past 25 years, Dr. Han is a tenured professor who has also been active as the chairman of the faculty senate. He formerly taught at Yeungnam University and the University of Houston in the United States and was a visiting scholar at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania between 1990 and 1993.
A certified management consultant who earned a Doctor of Philosophy in management information systems, Dr. Han formerly served as a first lieutenant with the Republic of Korea Air Force. He has since completed an IBM doctoral fellowship, has served as the vice chair of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes, and was a participant with ICT for the Disadvantaged Youth, ICT for Small Business, and the APEC Education Foundation.
Working on various Information-Space projects throughout his tenure, Dr. Han is also a longtime member of The International Council of Management Consulting Institutions, the Korea Management Association Consultants, Inc., the Korea Management Information Systems and the American Accounting Association.
Becoming involved in his profession to achieve world peace among human beings, Dr. Han aspires to become a peacemaker for the world in future years. Married to Tae Bong Cha with two children, he is also an avid amateur astronomer.
