Dr. Judson has more than 25 years of health care experience to her credit; she currently is working as the senior medical director of U.S. women's oncology for AstraZeneca since 2017. Previously, she held the position of Director of gynecologic oncology at Jordan Valley Medical Center from 2015 to 2017, Professor at Moffitt Cancer Center from 2011 to 2015, fellowship director at Moffitt Cancer Center from 2011 to 2015, Director of gynecologic oncology at the University of Minnesota from 1999 to 2011, fellowship director at the University of Minnesota from 2003 to 2011, Assistant then Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota from 1999 to 2011, and Director of gynecologic oncology at North Memorial Medical Center, in Robbinsdale, MN from 1999-2009. Dr. Judson began her career as a resident in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of California, San Francisco, and completed a gynecologic oncology fellowship at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Both universities recognized her with Outstanding Teaching Awards.

Before embarking on her professional career, Dr. Judson earned a Bachelor of Science in biology on a full academic scholarship at Hamline University in 1987, becoming a member of Phi Theta Kappa in 1984, and receiving the Beta Beta Beta Outstanding Biologic Achievement Award in 1987. She continued her academic efforts with a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 1998. During her training, she participated in a Medical Student Research Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in 1990, she was awarded the Dr. James Green Award for Outstanding Chief Resident and Midwife Consultant of the Year Award from the University of California, San Francisco in 1996, and the Medical Student, Peer Tutor Award from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 1990-1992. In 1997, she won the Best Poster Award at the ACOG District IV Annual Meeting and in 1998, Dr. Judson received the $1,000 Outstanding Presentation Award at the National Gynecologic Oncology Fellow's Forum. In 2004, she received a Peer Nomination for the Medical Staff Award for Exemplary Patient Care from the University of Minnesota Medical Center.

Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, gynecologic oncology, and acupuncture, Dr. Judson served on the Medical Advisory Board of the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance from 1999 to 2011, and the Scientific Advisory Committee of Gynecologic Oncology Group from 2005 to 2006. She has served as a reviewer for the Journal of Gynecologic Oncology since 2000, and Obstetrics & Gynecology since 1987. She has contributed 70 articles to peer-reviewed publications.

Dr. Judson is a life member of the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, as well as the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is a member of the Deborah E. Powell Center for Women's Health, Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, Gynecologic Cancer Foundation, Society for Integrative Oncology, and American Society of Clinical Oncology. She served on the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists' Program Committee from 2007 to 2008, the Society of Gynecologic Oncology's Education Committee in 2006, and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Program Committee from 2001 to 2005. She served on the resident interview committee (1993-1995) and as resident class representative (1993-1996) at the University of California, San Francisco. She is a past member of the Scottish Gynaecological Cancer Trials Group, NRG Oncology's Gynecologic Oncology Group, Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance, Minnesota Surgical Society, Minnesota Women Physicians, Minnesota Society of Clinical Oncology, and Florida Society of Clinical Oncology.

In light of her dedicated work, Dr. Judson has received numerous accolades and honors, including being named among America's Top Obstetricians and Gynecologists by the Consumers' Research Council of America each year from 2004 to 2017 and One of the Top Twin Cities Doctors for Women by Minnesota Monthly Magazine each year from 2006 to 2011. She was also named among the Best Doctors® in America from 2005 to 2015, and was named a Patients' Choice physician from 2010 to 2014. Minnesota Monthly Magazine named Dr. Judson among its "Top Doctors for Women" each year from 2006 to 2011 and in September 2002, she was featured in the magazine's "Best Care for Women" cover story. In January 2009, she was featured in Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine's "Top Doctors" cover story. In 2013-2014, she was nominated for the Moffitt Physician of the Year Award and recognized in the "I Made a Difference" Program. She was also recognized as a Moffitt "Angel" in 2014. In her short time in industry she has received a 2018 CEO Award: Exceptional Delivery, in recognition of LYNPARZA Ovarian Maintenance US Launch: World-Class Planning and Cross Functional Execution.

Dr. Judson was selected for inclusion in multiple editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who of American Women. The mother of two children, Dr. Judson enjoys running and traveling in her free time.
