NASHUA, NH, July 09, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Richard Thomas Boisjoly with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Boisjoly celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

With nearly 45 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Boisjoly has worked as a consultant in plastics engineering as well as the president and owner for Tidal Cove Enterprises LLC since 2009. Prior to this appointment, he served NP Medical, Inc., as the director of material science in 2008, acting research and development director from 2007 to 2008, senior manager of research and development from 2007 to 2008, and research and development program manager for product development from 2001 to 2006. Previously, he held the position of senior project engineer for Nypro, Inc., from 1993 to 2001, senior molding engineer for Teradyne Connections Systems from 1988 to 1993, senior quality engineer for Simmonds Precision Products, Inc., from 1986 to 1988, president of Vermont Iron from 1985 to 1986, and quality engineering manager for Nypro, Inc., from 1983 to 1985. Mr. Boisjoly began his career as a polymer chemist for Anchor Hocking Corporation from 1974 to 1977, a project engineer for the King-Seeley Thermos Company from 1977 to 1979, and a project engineer for Nashua Corporation from 1979 to 1983.

Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Boisjoly pursued an education at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in plastics engineering in 1974. Originally seeking a career in chemistry, he found the curriculum to be too theoretical to continue his studies. Hoping for a more hands-on learning experience, Mr. Boisjoly changed his academic efforts towards mechanical engineering, enrolling in the plastics department.

Beyond his responsibilities within his industry, Mr. Boisjoly has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He maintained involvement as chairman of the Global Polymer Council for Nypro, Inc., from 2006 to 2007, a volunteer for the Girl Scouts of the United States of America in 1987, and an adviser for the Youth Softball League in Waterbury, VT, in 1986. Likewise, he contributed to the Nypro Learning Institute as a teacher. An inventor in the field, he has held the role of patentee with NP Medical, Inc., and the Anchor Hocking Corporation. In light of his exceptional undertakings, Mr. Boisjoly was selected for inclusion in multiple editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Science and Engineering and Who's Who in the World.

In recognition of outstanding contributions to his profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Mr. Boisjoly has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
