An accomplished listee, Dr. Ni celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Dr. Ni is a dedicated professional in organic chemistry research. He began his career in China and immigrated to the United States to study at the University of California, Berkeley and Santa Cruz, where he obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in physical organic chemistry. Outside of his practical research in the field, Dr. Ni has authored 12 publications related to patents, including one featured in the Journal of Organic Chemistry and the Journal of the American Chemical Society. He is also credited with discovering the effect of surrounding magnetic fields on dipole molecular interaction, and he holds the patent for the shielding of magnetic fields as medical therapy.
