Prior to this appointment, Mr. Venison held the position of vice president for LiveWire Capital from 2002 to 2004, vice president of strategic planning for Clear Channel Entertainment from 2000 to 2002, and vice president of business development for SFX Entertainment from 1998 to 2001. Previously, he served Bear Stearns Companies as an investment banking analyst from 1996 to 1998. Mr. Venison began his career as a world-ranked professional tennis player, having competed on the ATP and ITF tours between 1993 to 1996.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Venison pursued an education at Columbia University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in political science in 1994. He has further maintained involvement as a Board Member of Raymond James Courier's Kids and a Junior Board Member of the Doe Fund, Inc. Likewise, Mr. Venison has found much success with his charitable work as well, having contributed to Saint Jude's Children's Hospital and a number of youth organizations as a supporter, donor, and volunteer.
Mr. Venison lives in Los Angeles, CA with his wife Joanne and their four children.
