Donald Samuel Childs Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

Mr. Childs has been endorsed by Marquis Who's Who as a leader in his industries

ARVADA, CO, August 06, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Donald Samuel Childs with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Childs celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

With nearly 50 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Childs is currently retired, having worked as a truck driver for various companies between 1989 and 2006. Prior to this appointment, he held the position of petroleum landman in Denver, CO, from 1968 to 1989. In recent years, Mr. Childs has followed his passions, having written a screenplay entitled "Gut Cinch," hunted for treasure and searched for the truth involving nuclear fallout he discovered in Tifton, GA, in 1994.

During his career as a truck driver, Mr. Childs decided he wanted to get back into the oil business, yet accidentally detected the site of an unreported Air Force accident with nuclear ramifications. He would continue to report on this story of the town to senators, congressmen, the town of Tifton, GA, and even President Bill Clinton. Having put himself in perpetual danger as a result of his efforts, Mr. Childs has continued to share this story with the Department of Veteran Affairs, and has reportedly spoken to a government agent who was a part of the clean-up crew of the accident.

Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Childs pursued an education at Wichita State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1967. Previously, he completed service with the United States Navy from 1961 to 1963. In light of his exceptional undertakings, Mr. Childs was selected for inclusion in multiple editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the West and Who's Who in the World.

In recognition of outstanding contributions to his profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Mr. Childs has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
