In preparation for her career, Ms. Johnson earned an associate degree in business administration and management from Henry Ford College. A leading voice in the field, she is affiliated with the AHDI, Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity as well as AHIMA, American Health Information Management Association. She also sits on the Board of Directors for a local Michigan healthcare provider for citizens with disabilities, Progressive Lifestyles, Inc. and actively engages with local organizations to serve, mentor and educate focusing on women and children.
