Dr. Jeffrey Duffany serves as a professor of electrical and computer engineering at Universidad del Turabo.

A former member of the IEEE, Dr. Duffany has authored more than 100 technical reports and 25 research papers utilizing all that he has learned. He has also lent his expertise to conferences in the United States, Portugal, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Ecuador, Japan, Egypt, Costa Rica, and many more. One of the highlights of Dr. Duffany's career was when the Springer Publishing Company asked him to write their introductory chapter to a new book on computer and network security.
An expert in his field, Dr. Duffany holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and a Master of Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and Columbia University, respectively. Additionally, he holds a Doctor of Philosophy in computer and information engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology as well as an associate degree in photography and Spanish from the County College of Morris. Throughout his career, he has earned a number of awards for his work, including Individual Performance Awards from Bell Telephone Laboratories and a grant from the Puerto Rican Government. In the coming years, Dr. Duffany intends to experience the continued growth and success of his career.
