Over the years, she also served as a mathematics teacher at the Hawaii School for Girls and Parkway Schools, and as a psychotherapist at Catholic Family Service.
An expert in her field, Ms. Brodeur holds a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from the University of Massachusetts, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Webster University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Missouri. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, she maintains affiliation with the Parkway and Missouri National Education Associations and the National Association of Social Workers, among many others.
