With 40 years of experience to her credit, Dr. Pike has worked at Biola University as an associate provost since 2013 and professor in the Rosemead School of Psychology since 2008. Prior to these appointments, she held a number of positions at Biola University, including interim provost from 2009 to 2010, vice provost of undergraduate education from 2008 to 2013, dean of the Rosemead School of Psychology from 1994 to 2008, associate professor from 1992 to 2008, and assistant professor from 1983 to 1992. She additionally served the Biola Counseling Center as a staff psychologist from 1986 to 2008, the Child Guidance Center as psychologist from 1985 to 1986, Mountain View College as an instructor from 1981 to 1983, and the International Linguistics Center on the faculty from 1980 to 1983. Dr. Pike began her career as a lecturer at the University of Hawaii from 1978 to 1979.

Before embarking on her professional path, Dr. Pike pursued an education at the University of Hawaii, earning a Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 1973. She continued her academic efforts with a Master of Arts in psychology in 1975, also at the University of Hawaii. Following these accomplishments, she obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in psychology from the University of Hawaii in 1979. A licensed psychologist in the state of California, Dr. Pike concluded her studies at the California School of Professional Psychology in 1986, completing postgraduate coursework.

Beyond her responsibilities within the field, Dr. Pike has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. In 1982, she contributed to Wycliffe Bible Translators as a statistical consultant. A noted speaker for parenting seminars, she has been further associated with the Whittier Area Community Church in 1985. Likewise, Dr. Pike held the role of board member for the Kenneth Pike Endowment for Integrative Scholarship.

Dr. Pike found success with her written works as well, having most recently co-authored "The Lost MK" in 2013. Previously, she held such posts for the Journal of Psychology and Theology as editor from 1992 to 2003, editor-elect from 1991 to 1992, and contributing editor from 1987 to 1990. Dr. Pike has also authored myriad articles for esteemed publications within her industry.

In addition to her primary vocation, Dr. Pike remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. She has maintained involvement with the American Psychological Association. She was also active with Phi Kappa Phi. In light of her exceptional undertakings, Dr. Pike was selected for inclusion in multiple editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who's Who in Science and Engineering, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who of American Women.
