Frank LaBarbera Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

Frank LaBarbera has been recognized by the Jaycees, having been named the Outstanding Jaycee of the Year from the Plant City Jaycees in both 1967 and 1969.

Williams Oil Company from 2005 to 2011, Ward Oil Company from 2000 to 2005, and Neumann Oil Company from 1981 to 2000. Additionally, Mr. LaBarbera served as a fleet and leasing salesman for Lakeland Ford Company from 1978 to 1981. Mr. LaBarbera has also held various positions in Lakeland, FL. He previously worked as an interior designer and sales representative for Badcock Furniture Corporation from 1975 to 1978, display manager for Montgomery Ward & Company from 1969 to 1975, and display man for Sears, Roebuck and Company from 1964 to 1969. Mr. LaBarbera was also a member of the Polk County Bicentennial Steering Committee from 1972 to 1976 and formerly served as president of Success Technologies Ltd. from 1978 to 1983.

In addition to these roles, Mr. LaBarbera currently serves as the board member and chairman of the Plant City Christmas Parade, which he founded in 1965. He is a volunteer and board member of the Strawberry Festival Parade, an annual event in Plant City, FL. Furthermore, Mr. LaBarbera has contributed articles to the Florida Jaycees Magazine and Elks Club. Prior to his career, Mr. LaBarbera attended various academic institutions. He earned an Associate of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in advertising and art from Saint Leo University in 1962 and 1964, respectively. Mr. LaBarbera also completed coursework at the University of Florida from 1964 to 1966.

Bettering any organization with which he is involved, Mr. LaBarbera holds membership with numerous organizations and has served as the president of the Plant City Knights of Columbus. He was the exalted ruler of the Plant City Elks Club from 1985 to 1987, third vice president of the Lions Club in Mulberry, FL, from 1976 to 1977, and five-time president of the Plant City Elks Club. Mr. LaBarbera was also a member of the Seminole Gun Club, Italian to American Club and the Sertoma Club of Lakeland, FL.

True to his passion for the field of business, Mr. LaBarbera has had involvement with the United States Junior Chamber, known as the Jaycees, a leadership training organization focused on emphasizing members' business development, management skills, community service and international connections. He has been affiliated with the Florida Jaycees, serving as external vice president from 1976 to 1977, regional director from 1974 to 1975, and state vice president from 1973 to 1974. Furthermore, Mr. LaBarbera was president of the Plant City Jaycees from 1972 to 1973.

Recognized for his accomplishments, Mr. LaBarbera has received multiple awards. He has been recognized by the Jaycees, having been named the Outstanding Jaycee of the Year from the Plant City Jaycees in both 1967 and 1969. He has also received a Salesman of the Year Award from Neumann Oil Company. Mr. LaBarbera has been featured in several editions of Who's Who In Finance and Industry and Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America due to his widespread influence.

Mr. LaBarbera attributes his success to the mentors he has had during his career. He particularly appreciates his time with the Jaycees, noting many leaders in the organization served as positive role models. He has also involved himself in politics, meeting congressman, senators and presidents. Mr. LaBarbera considers meeting President Reagan and being presented with the flag that flew over the White House to be a highlight of both his life and career.
