C. Peter Theut, a graduate of the University of Michigan (1960) and the University of Michigan Law School (1963) has practiced international law for his entire 55 year career. He was a shareholder at Butzel Long for 22 years prior to his retirement from that firm in early 2010. While at Butzel Long, Theut chaired the firm's Global Trade and Transaction Practice, the firm's China Initiative and served as the firm's Representative on the Executive Committee of the China Alliance.
