Lauren Holley-Allen Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

Lauren Holley-Allen is a retired psychiatrist assistant with Glass Health Systems and a retired training administrator with the Maryland Department of the Military.

With more than 30 years of professional experience, Ms. Holley-Allen most recently served as the training administrator for the Maryland Emergency Management Agency. Prior to obtaining this role, she was the director of education and training for the Clifton T. Perkins Hospital department of health and mental hygiene, as well as training director and coordinator and mental health consultant for the Developmental Disabilities Administration. Ms. Holley-Allen is a retired psychiatrist assistant with Glass Health Systems and a retired training administrator with the Maryland Department of the Military.

Ms. Holley-Allen began her career as a student at Morgan State University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in mental health administration in 1976. She subsequently studied at Antioch University, earning a Master of Arts in counseling psychology in 1978. Ms. Holley-Allen is a licensed psychiatrist assistant in the state of Maryland.

In addition to her primary roles, Ms. Holley-Allen has been active with a number of organizations in her community. She is a miniaturist with Maryland Miniatures Unlimited, a quilter with the Baltimore Heritage Quilt Guild, and she has been active with the Historical Society of Baltimore County. In addition, she is an active member of Mount Calvary African Methodist Episcopal Church, and the Beads of Wisdom Bible Study.

Throughout her career, Ms. Holley-Allen has been recognized for her contributions, including having won several awards for her quilting work. She has been featured in numerous honors publications, including Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the Media and Communication, and Who's Who in the Midwest.
