C.S. Bud Kulesza Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

Bud Kulesza with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. From 1990 to 1998, Mr. Kulesza was the senior vice president of ITT Automotive-Worldwide in Auburn Hills, MI. He served as Chairman of ITT Industries Canada from 1996 to 1998. In the four years prior to taking on this role, he was the chief financial officer and controller at ITT Electromechanical Components in Fountain Valley, CA. He also spent three years serving as vice president and controller of ITT Business and Consumer Communications in Raleigh, NC from 1983 to 1986. From 1981 to 1983, he was the senior financial manager for RJR Delmonte Frozen Foods in San Francisco, CA.

From 1973 to 1981, Mr. Kulesza was an assistant controller at ITT Morton Frozen Foods in Charlottesville, VA. He was also associated with the finance and accounting departments at Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick, NJ from 1969 to 1973. Likewise, he was a presenter at the XV World Congress of Accountants, and a dean emeritus of the IMA Leadership Academy.

Mr. Kulesza's academic pursuits began at Middlesex County College in Edison, NJ, where he earned an Associate of Applied Science in accounting in 1969. He continued his studies at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in commerce. In addition, he is a certified finance manager. Before attending these educational institutions, he served in the United States Army from 1964 to 1967.

Currently, Mr. Kulesza is a professional in the field and has not only contributed numerous articles to professional journals, but he also wrote the foreword for the book "The Practice Analysis of Management Accounting" in 1996. He also holds membership in such prestigious organizations as the Institute of Management Accountants, where he was the national president from 1999 to 2000 and is a lifetime member of the board of directors.

Other organizations in which Mr. Kulesza holds membership in include Beta Alpha Psi as an honorary member as well as a member of Finance Executives International. He also has been involved in the community through the Institute for Management Accountants' Leadership Academy.

Mr. Kulesza's civic involvement also includes acting as the chairman of accounting and finance advisory board at Oakland University in Rochester, MI in 1994. In 1996, he was on the business advisory curriculum committee at the Detroit College of Business in Dearborn, MI. Also, he served on the accounting accreditation committee for the International Association of Management Education (AACSB).

In acknowledgement of all of his successes, Mr. Kulesza was an honoree of Beta Gamma Sigma in 1997. He was awarded the 2018 IMA Lifetime Achievement Award. He has previously been featured in Who's Who in Finance and Industry, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the Midwest and Who's Who in the World.
