ANDERSON, SC, October 22, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Thomas David Sustar with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Rev. Sustar celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

From 2004 to 2016, Rev. Sustar was the senior pastor at the Easley Church of God, a Pentecostal church in Easley, SC. Prior to this position, he served as the evangelism and home missions director at the Western North Carolina Church of God from 1999 to 2002. From 1996 to 1999, he was the president of the East Coast Bible College. Before being awarded his Honorary Doctorate of Ministry from East Coast Bible College, Rev. Sustar studied at Lee University where he received a Bachelor of Science.

Growing up, Rev. Sustar was very influenced to pursue this profession by his family. His father, brothers, and uncle are all preachers. Continuing this pattern into later life, his wife's parents are both preachers. The moments that really called him to the ministry was when he was 19 years old, seeing young faces in videos on the wall of his room that he would encounter 26 years later when he was elected to the International Department and traveled the world.

Rev. Sustar has authored many works throughout the years including "Youth and World Missions," "Witnessing to Jehovah's Witnesses," "A Sure Foundation," "Transforming Faith," and "A Layman's Guide to the Fruit of the Spirit." He also wrote "Blessed Assurance: Jesus Has My Back," "The Gifts of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost," "What is God Thinking?," "Life's Greatest Questions," and "How In This World Can I Be Holy?."

His civic duties extend to the president's advisory committee for Holmes Bible College and the board of directors for the South Carolina Church of God Home for Children. Some of the highlights of his career include his involvement with the Korea National Convention and various trips to China, including one trip in which Samuel Lamb was released from prison and Rev. Sustar was afforded the opportunity to preach with him in his church house.

In acknowledgement of all of his accomplishments, Rev. Sustar was listed in Outstanding Young Men of America in 1978 and 1979. Furthermore, he received the Shepherd's Cup Award for Founding International Children's Ministry in 2013. Rev. Sustar has previously been featured in Who's Who in America and Who's Who in the South and Southwest.

In recognition of outstanding contributions to his profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Thomas David Sustar has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
