MAGEE, MS, October 23, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Rosita Griffith with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Griffith celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

An established educator, Ms. Griffith taught advanced mathematics and chemistry at Piney Woods School in Mississippi from 1999 to 2005. Leading up to this role, she served as a reading assistant and data entry administrative support personnel at Simpson County Schools in Mendenhall, MS, from 1993 to 1998. Finally, she assisted a Middle School Lead Math instructor, who was part of a team with a junior college, in writing over half a million dollar Tech Prep proposal that was approved in 1997. A science/math lab was built at her location. These are honors that she considers to be highlights of her career.

Ms. Griffith first had an idea that she wanted to be involved with chemistry when she was in high school and learning chemistry from Mr. Adell Watts. To this day, she still maintains contact with him. After graduating from high school, she pursued academics at Tougaloo College, where she received a Bachelor of Science in chemistry/mathematics in 1985. She continued her studies at Iowa State University and earned a Master of Science in food technology, emphasis food chemistry, in 1988. Ultimately, Ms. Griffith obtained a Master of Business Administration from American InterContinental University in 2013.
