Sally Riley Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

With more than 40 years of professional experience, Ms. Riley was a science teacher with the Irvine Unified School District from 1982 to 2008. In addition to her primary role, she was a member of the School Site Council from 1995 to 2005, a volunteer with the Pacific Wildlife Organization, a political volunteer, and the chair of her church music program. Prior to obtaining these positions, she was a social worker with Orange County in California from 1974 to 1976. Earlier in her career, Ms. Riley was a social worker with Los Angeles County in California from 1967 to 1971.

Ms. Riley was inspired to pursue a career in the industry from an early age, having always enjoys learning, teaching and working with children. She began her career as a student at California State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 1963. She is certified as a teacher by the University of California, Irvine. Ms. Riley is a member of the National Education Association, the California Teachers Association and the Irvine Teachers Association.

Throughout her career, Ms. Riley has been recognized for her contributions. She has been featured in numerous honors publications, including multiple editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Education, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who of American Women. In her free time, Ms. Riley enjoys genealogy, gardening, reading and traveling.
