An accomplished listee, Ms. Maury celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. Ms. Maury began her career as a Speech Pathologist in the Farmington Public Schools in CT. from 1969-1973. Following this appointment she was a teacher at the Julius E. Sprauve School, Cruz Bay, St. John, United States Virgin Islands from 1973 to 1978. From 1983 to 1989 she served as a teacher at the Columbus Magnet School, Norwalk, CT. After this opportunity she became principal of Kendall Elementary School in Norwalk from 1989 to 1999. She was active as an administrator in Norwalk from 1989 until 2004. Ms. Maury moved to Florida and she held the position of principal at Center Academy in Jacksonville, FL after which she became a special education supervisor for the Duval County Public Schools, FL.

Prior to embarking on her career, then Patricia Eletto received her B.A. in speech and language pathology from the University of Connecticut in 1969. Subsequent to this accomplishment she earned her Master of Arts from the University of Minnesota in 1978. She completed doctoral coursework in educational management and leadership at the University of Bridgeport in CT.

In addition to her career, Ms. Maury was vice president of the Council for Exceptional Children in Fairfield County from 1980 to 1981. From 1986 to 2000, she held a position on the accreditation team of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges in Bedford, MA. She contributed to the Connecticut Odyssey of the Mind in Fairfield, CT. as co-director from 1988 to 1989. She served as a presenter for the Connecticut Association of Boards of Education, the Northeast Conference for the Office of Civil Rights and the Communitarian Network Conference in Washington, D.C. with the "United We Sing Chorus".

Ms. Maury was named Teacher of the Year by the United States Virgin Islands Government in 1978. She received the Outstanding School Award from the Down Syndrome Association of Connecticut. In 1977, she was presented with the Pride In Norwalk Award from the Chamber of Commerce. She is co-founder of Norwalk Communities in Schools, Norwalk, CTY.

Ms. Maury is president and founder of the Firefly Educational Consortium, Inc. a non-profit 501c(3) established in 2011 "Lighting the way for people to receive a quality education". She is the author of "The Play's the Thing" and co-owner of Special Occasion Services (sos4jax.com) enhancing services for seniors in the Ponte Vedra community.
