Sarah L. Pagotto Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

    DANIELSVILLE, PA, November 16, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Sarah L. Pagotto with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Pagotto celebrates many years of experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. With nearly 35 years of professional experience, Ms. Pagotto retired in 2002, having been the elementary librarian for the Northampton Area School District since 1970. Prior to obtaining this role, she was the head librarian at the Northampton Public Library in Pennsylvania from 1969 to 1970. Earlier in her career, Ms. Pagotto was a clerk at the Northampton Public Library from 1968 to 1969.

Ms. Pagotto was inspired to pursue a career in the field from an early age, having always had an interest in books and literature. She was further encouraged by her mentor, Marjorie Druckenmiller, who told her that she had a natural talent for library sciences. She began her career as a student at the Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in library science in 1970. Ms. Pagotto concluded her studies with the school, earning a Master of Science in 1977.

A respected leader in her community, Ms. Pagotto has been affiliated with a number of organizations in relation to her areas of interest. She is a member of the National Education Association, the American Library Association, the Pennsylvania State Educators Association, and the Lehigh Township Historical Society. Ms. Pagotto has also served as a People to People delegate to Russia.

Throughout her career, Ms. Pagotto has been honored for her achievements. She has been featured in numerous honors publications, including multiple editions of Who's Who of American Women. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, antiquing, listening to music and studying the Pennsylvania Dutch language.
