Alfred Finnell Celebrates Many Years of Professional Excellence in His Field

Dr. Finnell is the inventor of the tension turbine and the tension wing

An expert in his field, Dr. Finnell has revolutionized the future of electric power in the United States through his invention.

LAKE WORTH, FL, November 30, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Alfred Finnell has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

An expert in his field, Dr. Finnell has revolutionized the future of electric power in the United States through his invention of the tension turbine and the tension wing, which will make a typical three-bladed turbine larger. This is done by removing the stress of cantilever blades. It will generate approximately 3 times more power for a same size unit. Currently, Dr. Finnell serves as the president and chief executive officer of Tension Turbine Inc.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Finnell gained valuable expertise through his roles with the United States Department of the Interior, such as Computer Specialist and Management Information Specialist (MIS) Coordinator at the Bureau of Indian Affairs. He entered the field of computing because computers were the most complex machines devised by man. After retiring from computing Dr. Finnell felt that there had to be a better way of creating power than the three-blade turbines. He then pursued research on his own.

Prior to making his mark in the field of power, Dr. Finnell earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Oregon State University. He concluded his studies at Oregon State University in 1961. He later obtained a Doctor of Philosophy. Subsequently, Dr. Finnell was certified as a master in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and was certified as a university-level teacher in California and New Jersey.

From 1955 to 1956, Dr. Finnell completed service with the United States Army, having previously been enlisted in the United States Navy Reserve and the United States Reserve Officer Training Force between 1952 and 1955. His hobby is rare fruits. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, he affiliates himself with the Palm Beach chapter of The Rare Fruit Council International, Inc. Featured in Who's Who in the Media and Communication, Who's Who in the East, and World Wide Who's Who, Dr. Finnell intends to serve as a consultant regarding the development of tension turbine and the tension wing in the coming years.
