Dr. Christe is best known for the first chemical synthesis of elemental fluorine and his work in polynitrogen chemistry.
An expert in his field, Dr. Christe holds a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Stuttgart in Germany. He also pursued postgraduate studies at the University of Vienna in Austria. Dr. Christe has been elected a fellow of the European Academy of Sciences and the Arts, the European Academy of Sciences, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
