With nearly 50 years of professional experience, Ms. Glass most recently served as an adjunct professor of foreign language methodology and second language acquisition theory at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, from 2008 to 2018, at New Jersey City University from 2004 to 2008, and at Fairleigh Dickenson University in 2003. Prior to these illustrious roles, she was a Spanish teacher with Dwight-Englewood School from 1985 until her retirement from K-12 education in 2013. Previously, she was the co-director of Grapevine Language Instruction in Cliffside Park, NJ, from 1983 to 1985 and a bilingual guidance counselor with Samuel Gompers High School in the Bronx from 1976 to 1979. Earlier in her career, she was a Spanish teacher with Junior High School 189 in Queens, NY, from 1969 to 1976.

Ms. Glass began her career as a student at Binghamton University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish in 1967. She continued her studies with Queens College, City University of New York, where she earned a Master of Science in education in 1973. She has been certified as a teacher of Spanish in the states of New Jersey and New York.

A leading voice in her areas of expertise, Ms. Glass has been affiliated with a number of state and national organizations. She is a member of the National Network for Early Language Learning, the Foreign Language Educators of New Jersey and the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. The coordinator of the World Language Institute at Fairleigh Dickinson University, she has also served as President of the Ethical Culture Society 2014-2017. Ms. Glass was a contributing author of "Model Lessons."

Throughout her career, Ms. Glass has been recognized for her accomplishments. A fellow and grantee of the National Endowment for the Humanities, she has also been a grantee of Columbia University. She has been featured in numerous honors publications, including multiple editions of Who's Who in America and Who's Who of American Women. She was named National Foreign Language Teacher of the Year in 2008 by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. Ms. Glass is listed in the ACTFL Hall of Fame.
