Nadine S. Youssef Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

Ms. Youssef has been endorsed by Marquis Who's Who as a leader in the field of education

LINCROFT, NJ, December 18, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Nadine S. Youssef with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Youssef celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Youssef has been serving as a math club moderator since 2002 and participated in the Mega Moody yearly competition as a facilitator, and a mentor for new student teachers from Monmouth University in Long Branch since 2003. She is also presently working as a substitute teacher in the Math Department for the Middletown, New Jersey Board of Education.

She was a mathematics teacher and SAT math instructor at Long Branch High School in New Jersey from 1995 to 2014. Ms. Youssef has also been an adjunct teacher of mathematics at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, NJ, since 1997. Ms. Youssef taught both French and mathematics at Marist High School in Bayonne, NJ, between 1986 and 1995 and to elementary students at Our Lady Star of the Sea, also in Bayonne, between 1976 and 1986. In Egypt, she taught science and math at Lycée Francais in Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt from 1969 to 1970. Enjoying every moment of her 40-plus year long career in education, she has notably written curriculum for various algebra 1, precalculus honors, algebra 2 honors and calculus courses. She has challenged her students, motivated them and taught them to love and discover math. Her goal is to fill in the missing puzzle piece in education.

Outside of her tenure in the classroom, Ms. Youssef has been focusing her attention as the moderator, coordinator and liaison for Challenge for Change, Ltd. (C4C), an international, non-profit organization that was established in 2015 and focuses on holistic education for millennial students between the ages of 12 and 15. The program is designed by a combined effort of research academics, industry and social venture professionals and, each year, is uniquely customized to the participating students. C4C develops case studies about current life challenges from local communities and offers students the right set of skills to solve them. C4C also qualifies students to be confident critical thinkers and problem solvers, assertively applying design thinking tools and methodology. Work is conducted both in and outside of the classroom.

Ms. Youssef received a Ford Foundation/Stevens Institute of Technology grant between 1991 and 1992 and again between 1996 and 1997. She has been showcased in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Education, Who's Who in the East and Who's Who of American Women.

Born in Cairo, Egypt, Ms. Youssef earned a Bachelor of Science in pure mathematics and physics and then a Master of Science in pure mathematics from Ain Shams University in Cairo in 1969 and 1970, respectively. Relocating to the United States in 1970 to begin her career in education, she later completed a Master of Arts in education and supervision from St. Peter's University in Jersey City, NJ, in 1995. Married to her longtime husband John Youssef since 1970, Ms. Youssef is the proud mother of one daughter, Sandra Youssef Abadir. She also has three amazing grandchildren, Jonathan, Gabriella and Natalie.

Poems by Nadine S.Youssef

My Life

Far in the horizon, my heart is glowing
Working, searching, planning was my drawing
With help from above I reached my goal
Now, I can breathe with a clear soul.

Born without my consent
Growing up, studying, working this is how it went
Today after a long ride I review my journey
With joy, pride, happiness and tourney

Feeling as a proud winner
In that strong rough spinner
Thankful to all who led me through it all
From parents, family, teachers playing their role.

Love the world and watch its bright side
Look at it with a peaceful glowing light.

----

My Journey in Life

Life is a long twisted journey to follow
The road is drawn by your thoughts
Bad Actions help in the making of sorrow
But wisdom is the idea you brought

It is you who play as a painter
Paint your canvas of living colors
Optimism is always brighter
Smell life and the scent of flowers

Straight, this road facing you
From the start stand tall and strong
Think fair and wisely, too
Follow the right path And avoid all wrong

It is easy to say!
Trying, is a long way.
Conquer is possible
Victory is reachable.

---

Growing Old

Time passes and years fly,
Thoughts become stronger and dry
Looking and scanning the past, helps you draw your way
Retire, rewire and prepare for your future and say
Life is full of surprise
Choose and be wise.

No magic, several changes
In small and big ranges
What you built will not last long
In a minute it can go wrong.
Learn to smile and appreciate
Be strong and recognize your fate

You will see people in your life who will impress
Some other create a life full of stress
Learn to live and adapt to all
The good the weak but do not fall.
Let the sun shine your way
Do good deeds rejoice and pray.

You can create your joy on that earth
Try to see and feel good from birth
Reject negativity and darkness
Welcome positivity and brightness

My Life and Memories

As I search and try to watch my life go by
I see joy, laughter and happiness
Concentrating on the beautiful time, OH my!
Family reunion, birthday, parties no less

Time spent with real friends and inspirations
Filled with love, encouragements and motivations

Lived to the fullest every second
Did it all my way
Enlighten by the sun ray
Creating healthy positive amend

Life is not always smiling at you
Try to find out the brightest avenue

Follow, enjoy and accomplish your dreams
In a safe and modest way with eyes agleam
Do not think of the past and its deceptions
Look at the present and its perfections

The past is history, the future is mystery and the present is a gift!

---
My Lord is my Light

A light from above is hovering over me
Picked me up from shining crowd
Held my name and made me see
The road to be successful and be proud

We all go through ups and downs
Instead of complains and frowns
Be strong fight your motions
Work it out and see devotions

Try to follow your guiding light
Invite happiness, thankfulness and positive sight
Let the Lord draw your future
Planning your road. No worry for sure

In his hand is my life and soul
I owe him my success, my life and all
The one who opened up closed doors
Is the one who helped me in my falls

Thank you for being my guidance
My support, my teacher and my sight
You filled me with love joy and patience
You are and always be my guiding light.

A Teacher's Thoughts

On my way to review my youth
Searching, founding the truth
In this big round ball
I learned you always need to fight a fall

Helping the world and its adamant
Avoiding the roads to sadness ,darkness
Spreading the light ,happiness and brightness
Seems my path future investment.

Choose my way to fulfill my dream
To help, care, share
To always play fare
Was reachable not extreme

Here I am looking at you
With my heart filled with love
Open up to me, feel the dew
covering your body from above

I'll offer my help everyday
For a healthy recovery on its way
Trust me I'll do my best
Teach you to do the rest

Caring is my name
Helping is my game
Spreading peace is my aim
Wishing you a bright future is my fame.
