Niki Ketchman Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

With more than 30 years of professional experience, Ms. Ketchman was the photoshop technical assistant at the International Center for Photography in New York City from 2003 to 2005. Prior to obtaining this role, she worked as a docent at the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York City from 1992 to 1993. Earlier in her career, she served as a teacher at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut, from 1978 to 1981 and at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, from 1977 to 1979. Ms. Ketchman holds a Bachelor of Arts in fine arts from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey, and a Master of Arts in fine arts from Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey.

A renowned artist in her field, Ms. Ketchman has been included in numerous museums and galleries. She has been featured in one-woman shows at the Bell Gallery in Connecticut, the Pindar Gallery in New York City, Mona Berman Fine Arts in Connecticut, the Aetna Gallery Institute in Connecticut and the Alena Adlung Gallery in New York City. She has also participated in one-woman shows at the Cortland Jessup Gallery in Massachusetts, the Humphrey Gallery in New York City, Gallery New World in Germany, the DeCordova Sculpture Park and Museum in Massachusetts and the Knoxville Museum of Art in Tennessee. Furthermore, Ms. Ketchman has exhibited at the New Britain Museum of American Art, the Katonah Museum of Art, the GaGa Gallery, the Kouros Gallery, the Fairfield Arts Council and the Haviland Street Gallery.

Ms. Ketchman has participated in many group shows as well, including at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Montclair State University, the Hansen Gallery, the Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art and the GE Gallery. She has also been featured in group shows at the Heckscher Museum of Art, The Bronx Museum of Arts, the John Szoke Gallery, the Stamford Museum & Nature Center, the Bruce Museum and the Philippe Staib Gallery. Among a vast number of other shows, she has more recently been included in group shows at the Franconia Sculpture Park in Minnesota, The Berkshire Botanical Garden in Massachusetts and The Gallery of Contemporary Art at Sacred Heart University. Currently working on crafting sculptures with unconventional materials such as fencing, live roses and aqua resin, Ms. Ketchman's work was included in the Auction of Gallery Artists in Westport from 2015 to 2018 and is represented in permanent collections all across the country.

Throughout her career, Ms. Ketchman has been recognized for her stunning contributions to the world of art. A Jerome Foundation Fellow of the Franconia Sculpture Park in 1999, she received the GTE Corporation Award from the Silvermine Guild of Artists Inc. in 1980. In light of all her accomplishments, Ms. Ketchman has been featured in numerous honors publications, including multiple editions of Who's Who of American Women.
