C. Brad Foley currently works as a professor of music at the University of Oregon, where he formerly served as the dean of the School of Music and Dance.

At the start of his career, he excelled at Stephen F. Austin State University as an instructor. Over the years, he has found success through various educational roles with East Carolina University, including as an assistant professor, associate professor, and professor, an assistant dean and the dean in the School of Music. In the context of his roles, Dr. Foley has helped to fund, design and construct facility improvement projects including additions and renovations at East Carolina University and the University of Oregon valued at more than $30 million dollars.

An expert in his field, Foley pursued an education at Ball State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts with honors in music education. He later obtained a Master of Music and the Doctor of Musical Arts degrees at the University of Michigan in music performance.

In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Dr. Foley has been affiliated with the North America Saxophone Alliance, the North Carolina Music Teachers Association and the Music Teachers National Association. Foley has served as a visiting evaluator of music programs and serves as an elected member of the Commission on Accreditation for the National Association of Schools of Music. He has also served as an artist with the Eugene Symphony Orchestra and the Oregon Bach Festival Orchestra. Furthermore, Dr. Foley has contributed various articles for publication in professional journals and performed in hundreds of concerts throughout his career.

For his professional accomplishments, Dr. Foley has accepted grants through the Getty Foundation, the Liberace Foundation, the North Carolina Arts Council and the Presser Foundation. Additionally, he has been selected for inclusion in multiple editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the South and Southwest and Who's Who in American Education.
