Tracy Glenn Murray Celebrates 26 Years of Excellence in Music Education

Mr. Murray has served as conductor for the New Jersey Allstate Opera Festival on 2 separate occasions



For 26 years Tracy Glenn Murray has excelled the field of music education.

    SOMERSET, NJ, December 21, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tracy Glenn Murray has been included in Marquise Who's Who and all Marquise Who's Who autobiographical volumes, individuals profiled and selected on the basis of current reference value. For 26 years Mr. Murray has excelled the field of music education. At the inception of his career he joined Immaculate Conception High School in Montclair NJ, where he stayed for one year before transferring to East Brunswick High School. Over the years he gained valuable expertise with Union High School, Connecticut Farms Elementary School and South Plainfield High School, where he worked as Director of Choral Activities from 1990 up until his retirement in 2011. During the course of his daily routine he conducted choral classes for students in 9th through 12th grade, while also specializing in music appreciation. When asked of his career highlights, he cites directing the high school spring musical "Jekyll and Hyde" in April 2007 as a crowning moment.

Certified in comprehensive music education from kindergarten through 12th grade, Mr Murray holds a Bachelor of Arts in music education from Mountain State University. In order to remain up to date with changes in the field, he was a member of the New Jersey Music Educators Association, having formerly been a member of the American Choral Directors Association. Mr. Murray served as a two-time guest conductor for the New Jersey All State Opera Festival. Enjoying the opera, symphony and Broadway shows, Mr. Murray has also enjoyed sharing many of these experiences with his students over the years.
