With nearly 40 years of professional experience, Mr. Keller has been a partner with Byrnes Keller Cromwell LLP, formerly known as Byrnes and Keller LLP, since 1984. In his unique position, he focuses his practice on business and tort litigation, having tried a number of high-stakes and high-profile jury and non-jury disputes. His cases have involved multiple facets of law, including securities fraud, products liability, dealer-termination and class action cases, among many others. Prior to obtaining his current position, he served as an associate with Bogle and Gates from 1979 to 1984.
Mr. Keller began his career as a student at Beloit College, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in 1976. He then attended Brooklyn Law School, earning a Doctor of Jurisprudence, magna cum laude, in 1979. He has been admitted to practice law in the state of Washington, as well as before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Washington.
A respected leader in his community, Mr. Keller has been active with a number of professional organizations. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Washington State Bar Association, and the Seattle-King County Bar Association. In addition, he has been recognized as a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, the International Society of Barristers, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the American Board of Trial Advocates.
Throughout his career, Mr. Keller has received awards and accolades for his achievements, including having been named a Super Lawyer in Washington every year since 1999 and a "Top Ten" Washington Super Lawyers every year since 2006. Holding an AV Preeminent Rating through Martindale-Hubbell, he has been listed in Best Lawyers in America every year since 2003, Best Lawyers in Seattle for Business Litigation in Seattle Magazine, and Best Lawyers in Seattle for Commercial Litigation in Seattle Metropolitan Magazine.
