Hurnyak, with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. Hurnyak celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Hurnyak has been a senior associate attorney at Rudberg Law Offices LLC since 2010. With her areas of practice in personal injury, medical malpractice and products liability, she works to provide high-quality representation to clients in Pittsburgh and throughout western Pennsylvania. Established in 2001, Rudberg Law Offices LLC has been committed to protecting the legal rights of clients who suffer injury because of someone else's negligence since its inception. Formerly serving as an associate at three different law firms, Tarasi & Tarasi PC in Pittsburgh; Grossman, Levine & Civiletto in Niagara Falls, New York, and Dempsey & Dempsey in Buffalo, New York, she also served as a law clerk for Justice Norman J. Named a Super Lawyer and a member of the National Association of Distinguished Counsel, Ms. Hurnyak has also been cited in more than 25 editions of Who's Who, including Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law and Who's Who in the World. One of the proudest moments in Ms. Hurnyak's career, however, involved a case that she had been working on for a client whose husband was murdered by a nurse. Beginning in 1988, the case took seven years to resolve. Found guilty of deliberately overdosing her patient on insulin in the middle of the night, the nurse was sentenced to prison. Throughout her many successful years in law, Ms. Hurnyak has been active with numerous professional organizations, including the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Allegheny County Bar Association.

Known for her ability to problem solve, Ms. Hurnyak has always desired to help others and give people a voice. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, she took a summer job at a law firm, which inspired her to later pursue a law degree. Earning her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, in 1972, she then acquired a Doctor of Jurisprudence at the University at Buffalo in 1979. She has since been licensed to practice law by the Pennsylvania State Bar and the New York State Bar and has been admitted to practice by the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
