Jacqueline Mallard Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

    LOS ANGELES, CA, January 14, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Jacqueline Mallard with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. With more than 25 years of professional experience, Ms. Mallard was a teacher of mathematics and special education with the Los Angeles Unified School District from 1974 to 1999, where she also served as chair of the mathematics department from 1979 to 1980. Prior to obtaining these roles, she served the district as a mathematics teacher from 1974 to 1985. Ms. Mallard has been active with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, was the director of Evangelism outreach at the First Church of God, and is the former coordinator of school proficiency for the English program at Bret Harte Middle School.

Ms. Mallard began her career as a student at Pepperdine University, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in 1973. She continued her studies with the university, earning a Master of Science in 1979. She later returned to her studies, completing postgraduate coursework with California State University, Dominguez Hills, in 1988.

Throughout her career, Ms. Mallard has been recognized for her contributions. The recipient of a Wall of Fame Award in 1990, she was also honored with a prison fellowship from the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. She has been featured in numerous honors publications, including multiple editions of Who's Who in American Education and the 27th edition of Who's Who of American Women.
