Before beginning his tenure with Page in 1996 as a Project Director for the firm's Science and Technology group, Michael worked as a Project Architect for firms including: Industrial Design Corp. (IDC) in Portland, Oregon; Gazley, Plowman, and Atkinson Architects in Portland, Oregon; and DiNisco Kretsch and Associates in Boston, Massachusetts. Mr. Mace has also worked as an architectural intern for HRM Architects in Boston and Delvin L. Mace Architects in Vancouver, Washington, where he began his career in 1981.

He has been involved in projects across the USA and around the world and is licensed as an architect in 30 plus states.
As a second generation architect, Mr. Mace became interested in the field at a very early age. His father graduated with a degree in architecture from Washington State University when he was eight years old, so he has clear memories of looking over his father's shoulder, watching him work on class projects. Seventeen years later, following the example set for him, Mr. Mace also graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. Exhibiting unmatched professional drive, Mr. Mace is notable for his practical, international designs as well as his passion for the science and technology market sector. He is a member of such organizations as the American Institute of Architects, the Association for Computer Operations Management, and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, organizations through which he maintains connections with industry developments. In light of all his accomplishments, Mr. Mace was previously included in multiple editions of Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Science and Engineering and Who's Who in the World.
