With nearly 40 years of professional experience, Ms. Berg has been an associate at Haven Psychological Associates since 1992, and she has been a lecturer, presenter, and consultant for workshops since 1982. In addition to her current roles, she was a team coordinator on child abuse reporting and pediatrics and NICU social worker for White Memorial Medical Center from 1986 to 1987, and a course creator for corporate child care programs and promotion at California State University Extended Education. Earlier in her career, Ms. Berg was director of the Zale Diamond Corporation Child Care Center from 1980 to 1983.

Ms. Berg began her career as a student at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in 1975. She continued her studies with Virginia Commonwealth University, earning a Master of Social Work in 1980. She subsequently completed a postgraduate internship with the White Memorial Center NICU from 1986 to 1987 and a postgraduate internship at West End Family Counseling Center from 1988 to 1992.

A respected leader in her community, Ms. Berg has also been an active voice in her community. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and the National Association for Female Executives. She has served as a mental health school site counselor, clinical intern, and educator with California State University, Fullerton, and she has conducted more than 1,000 critical incident stress debriefings in California, Nevada, and Mexico. Ms. Berg has been a volunteer with the League of Women Voters and the Reality Rally.

Barbara Berg is the award-winning author of "Ring Shui - Move Your Rings, Change Your Life," (Ganesha Hills Press - 2009 and 2012), for which she received the Finalist Award for the Next Generation Indie Book Awards through the IBPA-Independent Book Publishers Association and the Eric Hoffer Award for Excellence in Independent Publishing Finalist. She has written two additional self-help books: "What to Do When Life is Driving You Crazy!" (Creative Options Publications, 1997); and "How to Escape the No-Win Trap," (McGraw-Hill, 2004).

She is a corporate and association self-help speaker and presenter on stress management and workplace communication. She's been featured on The Other Half with Danny Bonaduce and Mario Lopez; and The Howard Stern Show. She previously hosted her own radio show, Ring Shui and Relationships, on HealthyLife.net. As a sought-after speaker, she's appeared on over 500 radio, television, and Internet shows, and has conducted over 500 workshops and keynote speeches.

Throughout her career, Ms. Berg has been recognized for her achievements, including having received the President's Lifetime Achievement Award for Lifelong Commitment to Building a Stronger Nation through Volunteer Services from President Barack Obama. She has been featured in numerous honors publications, including multiple editions of Who's Who Among Human Services Professionals, Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who In America, and Who's Who of American Women.
