Dr. Daniel Frederick Jennings has been serving as the Andrew Rader professor of industrial distribution at Texas A&M University since 2006.

At the inception of his career, he joined Armstrong World Industry as an industrial engineer in 1961. From there, he gained valuable expertise through varying positions with Kaiser Alum Corporation, Olinkraft, Inc., Boise Cascade Corporation, Certainteed Corporation and Baylor University. In a career full of highlights, one of the most profound was being invited into the National Academy of Arbitrators.

An expert in his field, Dr. Jennings holds a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from the University of Tennessee, a Master of Business Administration from Northeast Louisiana University, now known as the University of Louisiana at Monroe, and a Doctor of Philosophy from Texas A&M University. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, he maintains affiliation with the Academy of Management. Additionally, he has had the opportunity to contribute his extensive knowledge to nearly 400 academic articles, 12 textbooks and 24 book chapters.

For his outstanding work, Dr. Jennings has been recognized on many occasions, earning the Paul Kreusi Honor Award from the University of Tennessee and a Distinguished Research Award from Baylor University and Texas A&M University. Looking ahead, Dr. Jennings intends to continue parlaying his knowledge to students at Texas A&M University.
