EVERETT, WA, February 21, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Richard E. Brown, MusD, with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Dr. Brown celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

After earning a Bachelor of Arts from Central College in 1969, Dr. Brown went on to achieve a Master of Music and Doctor of Music from Florida State University in 1972 and 1974, respectively. He has also studied under such prominent composters as Carlisle Floyd, John Boda and Charles Carter. A freelance composer and arranger, Dr. Brown also worked as a music teacher in various public schools from 1974 to 2005. He was awarded a Distinguished Alumni Award by Central College in 1983.

Prominent in his field, Dr. Brown works with church, instrumental, concert, orchestra, choral, solo and chamber music. He is known for the skill he brings into teaching music in the classroom, and he is proud of how many of his students have been met with success in the music industry. He currently belongs to the American Composers Forum.

Dr. Brown was inspired to pursue his career path because of his father, who was a skilled musician who never acquired formal training. Also inspired by teachers, Dr. Brown ultimately decided to compose and teach instead of becoming a working musician. In light of his skill in his field, he was honored in the first and third editions of Who's Who in Entertainment.

In recognition of outstanding contributions to his profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Dr. Brown has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
