Prior to embarking on his professional path, Mr. Labrecque pursued an education at Tufts University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1962. He concluded his studies at Union University in 1971, graduating with a Master of Science in Industrial Administration. Concurrently, Mr. Labrecque began his career as a manager of manufacturing engineering for the GE Aircraft Engine Group from 1962 to 1968.
From 1969 to 1981, Mr. Labrecque worked for Colt Industries, serving as President of the Fairbanks Morse Pump Division, and President of the Quincy Compressor Division. He then joined ITT Corporation, serving as President of their Fluid Handling Division.. He later served ITT Industries Inc. as Senior Vice President, President and CEO of the ITT Fluid Technology Corporation. Mr. Labrecque also was Executive Vice President of ITT Industries, Inc. prior to his retirement in 2000.
In addition to his principal endeavors, Mr. Labrecque is a Director of PeopleFlo Manufacturing Inc. and BigMachines Inc. He is also an owner/partner of CarLab Associates LLC and Miracle Mile UStor, LLC. Mr. Labrecque has also been Campaign Chairman for the United Way of Wyandotte County, Kansas City.
Mr. Labrecque was a member of the Hydraulic Institute, for which he has contributed on the Board of Directors as well as in the posts of the President and Chairman. He is affiliated with the Oro Valley Country Club, where he served as Vice-President of Finance.. Mr. Labrecque has been selected for inclusion in several professional publications, including various editions of Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in America and Who's Who in the World.
