Dr. Annie Truong has been a pharmacist manager and compounding pharmacist for Biocare Pharmacy since 2007.

Dr. Truong has been a pharmacist manager and compounding pharmacist for Biocare Pharmacy since 2007. A woman-owned small business, the compounding pharmacy provides pharmaceutical services to the Houston area, as well as delivery/mail medication to commercial, federal and state government entities.
Throughout her career, Dr. Truong has contributed to various research journals in her area of expertise, including the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and Professional Compounding Centers of America. She is also an active member of the NAPHA and the HAPA, and is a sponsor for the Disabled Veterans and Widows Relief Association.
Lending her expertise at various local health fairs to help benefit the Vietnamese community and surrounding areas, Dr. Truong has also worked with Vietnamese-American veterans and has been active within the Asian-American community to increase cultural awareness and promote preventative care.
Dr. Truong was named Pharmacist of the Year twice, once by Trademark Publishing, Inc., in 2018 and previously by the University of Houston Alumni Association in 2016. She also recently received a Certificate of Appreciation by the Disabled Veterans and Widows Relief Association in 2016 and a Certificate of Appreciation for Renaming Streets in the Local Vietnamese Community in 2016, among other awards. She notably holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
